Block Party (Indoor Block Play) Event – Saturday, April 13, 2024, 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.

Block play builds spatial reasoning skills, mathematical thinking, motor skills, and more. When children build together they learn to collaborate and communicate. Not to mention the creativity and self-expression that happens when children are invited to imagine and build their own original structures.

Block play is a core, daily activity at FTCNS. At our “block party” event we’ll play with a variety of block sets and other construction materials. Ann Gadzikowski, FTCNS director and author of the book “Young Architects at Play,” will share information with parents about the benefits of block play, especially during the pre-kindergarten years.

Bring your young architect (age 2 to 4) for a fun play session and learn more about our programs at Families Together Cooperative Nursery School. Children will be invited to build houses, towers, roads, and other structures using a variety of materials. RSVP at admissions@ftcns.org.
