Join teachers Jill Victorine and Kirsten Ruckdeschel for outdoor adventures in our Friday morning nature play class! Register for one, two or all three seasonal sessions. Enrollment will remain open until each session reaches 12 students.
Outdoor nature play benefits children in so many important ways. Children exercise their bodies, breathe fresh air, engage in fun social interactions, explore nature and science, and learn to care for our environment.
Activities include joyous open-ended play in the great outdoors as well as nature projects such as caring for our community garden, journaling and sketching, creating and acting out stories, and taking sensory walks. And plan on lots of messy play as we bake mud pies and other pretend concoctions. Class will begin most days across the street at the Senn Park playground. Some classes will take place at other green spaces around the neighborhood and local parks.
NOTE: You may register for one, two or all three seasonal sessions but admissions preference will be given to students who register for the entire year. You will also receive a 10% discount on tuition if you register for and attend all three sessions.
