
Families Together offers afternoon enrichment classes for current FTCNS students, alumni (ages 3 1/2-6), and the broader community. Topics for FTCNS’s Enrichment Classes include: Science (STEM), Visual Arts, Nature, and Performing Arts. Current and former FTCNS staff and outside content experts will teach fall, winter and spring sessions of a changing selection of classes. Sliding scale tuition is available for current and alumni students.

Story Studio: Being Brave

- Tuesdays, 3:30 to 5 p.m., for 6 weeks: October 6, 13, 20, 27 and November 3, 10, 2026.
- Open to current and alumni FTCNS students and the broader community, ages 3 1/2 (by 10/6/26) to 6.

From Brave Irene to Jabari Jumps, children’s picture books offer remarkable role models for children who find the courage to do hard things. In this session of Story Studio we’ll explore stories about being brave and how we can work together to overcome challenges, Art, movement, puppets, and pretending are just a few of the creative play activities offered in Story Studio. Children will be invited to represent the story, setting, and characters using many different methods and media. We’ll even create a few original stories of our own!

Pet Vets

- Open to current and alumni FTCNS students and the broader community, ages 4 (by 10/1/26) to 6.

From puppies to kittens, gerbils to bunnies, all pets need care and attention to stay healthy and grow strong. In Pet Vets we’ll learn about the science behind animal care. We’ll create our own vet office and explore how animal doctors monitor and assess pet health. And we’ll discover the kinds of meals, toys, and medicines pets might need to live healthy lives.

FTCNS Play Club
- Tuesdays, 4 to 5 p.m., for 6 weeks: September 9, 16, 23, 30 and October 7, 14, 2026.

- Open to alumni FTCNS students who are entering Kindergarten in Fall of 2026.
- FTCNS Play Club is offered for a flat $90 fee for the 6-week session.
FTCNS Play Club is a special short-term experience designed to provide support, connection, and fun for FTCNS alumni entering Kindergarten in the fall. Each Play Club session will offer open-ended classroom play options such as playdough, blocks, and pretending.
Club participants will have a chance to connect with FTCNS friends and revisit some of their favorite play activities with a Families Together teacher and director Ann Gadzikowski. Play Club seeks to reassure children that FTCNS friendships and open-ended play are still important, even as they make the transition to Kindergarten.
